WAYS OF EXPRESSING FUTURE
- In general, the future can be referred to with the auxiliary verb ‘will’ (will-future). This is especially true for spontaneous decisions:
- “There will surely be a lot of people in the zoo.”
- “I’ll have the hamburger, please.”
- This is a spontaneous statement.
- If there is a plan for a future action or if a present fact indicates a future event, the expression ‘to be going to’ can be used:
- “I’m going to buy a new car.”
- “It’s going to rain soon. There are a lot of black clouds in the sky.”
- Although the present simple is mainly used for the present tense, it can also express the future at times. This is the case when we talk about time tables, schedules of buses, planes, etc.:
- “The plane leaves at 7 o’clock.”
- “The train arrives at 6.15 tomorrow.”
- Not only for ongoing actions in the present, the present continuous can additionally be used for fixed arrangements or appointments in the future:
- “My wife is flying to Rome tomorrow.”

2022 was indeed a year full of challenges and an adventure.
ReplyDeleteAt the beginning of the year I was in the camp I was skiing, I learned different tehniques and I made lots of friends with whom I keep in touch. I succesed to do a big achivement and I promoted to the expert category.
Trough the year I had big grades, finishing the 6th grade with 10 and I recived the excellent award.
In the summer holiday I traveled with my parents and with my friends in the Greece island Lefkada and the capital of Italy, Roma.
In Greece I went to the Agiofili Beach, Gialos Beach, Katsiki Beach, and in Roma I visited principal tourist attractions: Colosseum, Roman Form. A day I dedicated to Vatican Museum, Sf Peter's Basilica and Sistine Capel.
Through the year I participated to numerous competitions salsa and bachata dance.
I expect the year 2023 to be at least as good like this year, to travel more, to have good results and everyone to be healthy.

Delete2022 was indeed a year full of ups and downs and sadness. In the end I managed to get over the hard and troublesome moments, but the most important thing was that I had to learn an important lesson, even if it meant entering 2023 with only 3 real friends.
ReplyDeleteAn important thing that I remembered from the actions and choices made in 2022, was that I should no longer put useless things and useless people in my heart that are not worth trusting and I should no longer have expectations from anyone and the only person I should have expentations from is myself.
Besides the fact that last year I went to the hospital about 4 times, I also had some more beautiful moments, especially with my family, but at least I'm still here, so it means that I've recovered and I hope it won't happen again to go to the hospital again.
I hope that this year I will be able to fulfill what I propose and give my best to make my family proud.

ReplyDelete2022 was indeed a succesful year. In 2022 I travelled a lot, I made new friends ,I learnt how to cook and I learnt how to have fun.
At the begging of the year I went in a sky camp and then I travelled to Spain to surprise my aunt because it was her birthday. It was fantastic! I visited many tourits attractions.
In March, togheter with my family, we started to work at their dream, to built a new house. I just organized the garden and I chosen the design of my room.
This summer was the best summer I ever had. I made a lot of new friends and I hung up with them.We had lots of sleepovers, many rides picnics. Everytime we met , we always shook with laughter.Together, we went in a summer camp in Bucegi mountains.
I, my family and some of their friends went in Greece. It was amazing. Also, only I and my family, travelled to Gibraltar and Italy. It was amazing! We saw many wonderful places,we tasted a lot of new food and we done scuba diving in Adriatic Sea.
Finally, 2022 it was a fine year!

ReplyDelete2022 was indeed an unexpected year.This year matured me.I had great times and bad times.
At first,I was in another school,with different friends and different teachers.My parents said that it would be better for me if I would change my school.I started integrating in the second week.I thought that it would be hard for me to make new friends,but it wasn’t.
In January,I was so insecure about how I looked,but my family supported me and now I’m not anymore.
In april I travelled to Greece with my old classmates.It was the best experience I have ever had!There,the people were more elegant than the Romanians.They showed us the Alexandropoli,one of their cities and told us that some of their friends went to Romania.
This Christmas was not the most amazing one of my entire life,but it was so lovely just because I spent it with my sister and my parents.I spent The New Year’s Eve with my best friend.It was awesome!We ate some cake,drank some orange juice and then we went to our houses,because it was late.
If I could go back in 2022,I wouldn’t,even if it was the best year,because I’m curious what I’ll do in 2023.

ReplyDelete2022 was indeed a special year that I would carry in my heart forever. Yesterday, I was looking in my old photo albums when I found the one from 2022 and decided to take a look in it.
There weren't many photos, but the ones there were reminded me of the way I spent that wonderfull year. All of the memories were vague and I couldn't remember most of the interesting adventures I experienced.
The first picture was a family one. There was everyone in it, including my brother's girlfriend. We all wore ridiculous hats and big absurd glasses. I couldn't remeber the place really well, but I assumed it was took by a professional photografer in a stunning garden.
The second one was a blurry image of me surrounded by adorable animals at one of the most known zoos in the town. The one that caught my eyes was a grand black pantera because it was standing on its back paws. There were many other wild animals like monkeys holding onto an elephant's trunk or some penguins riding lions.
The next image was with me on skis standing in front of a steep slope. The only thing I could bring back to mind was that it was the winter I learned how to ski and I couldn't even tell anything more from the empty background.
I turned the page to see the last photo, one with my old friend group. We were all on the seashore laughing uncontrollably at one of my friends because he got pinched by a crayfish. I recalled something. That night, we slept on the seaside because we didn't had money for a hotel room.
After seeing all those lovely childhood photos I realised how fast the time passed by and how fast I grew up.

ReplyDeleteI was so shocked of their actions that the first thing I did was run to the teacher and tell her what was happening. She got up from her desk and quickly walked into the main hall were two boys were bullying a girl in their class for not giving them the homework that both of them had to prepare for today. The teacher shouted at the boys who immediately left the girl alone and looked at the teacher. Then she ran past me and I stopped her and asked if she was ok. She told me that she was happy that someone saw the incident and decided to speak up because most of the people in her class did nothing about it, altough they knew. She told me that most of the people didn't like her and used to make her feel emberrassed, but she didn't have the courage to tell anyone untill now and I told her to rely on me and to tell me if this ever happens again. Fortunately, the girl wasn't injured but she had to explain what they were doing to her. Of course she told the teachers everything and the boys got what they deserved, I mean detention. From what I've heard both of the boys parents apologised to the girl's parents. I'm happy that I helped her that day, because she became my first and best friend and I don't know what I would do withouth her by my side.

ReplyDelete2022 was indeed a year who had its ups and downs like every other one, for me it had more ups than downs because i started seeking happiness in simple things and made new friends that were doing the same thing. I feel like time went too fast and i didn't get to properly enjoy 2022, but as much as I did enjoy it I thought it's enough. If december 2022 me were to tell January 2022 me everything that happened this year, it would've left january 2022 me with her mouth wide open in shock. My opinion this year was that it could have been better if all the downs didn't happen but most of the things happenned with a reason because for me i found out sooner or later that they were followed by good things. About 2023, I hope it would be better than 2022, but what can i say, I've got my hopes up.

2022 was indeed a nice year, in which they happened very much amazing things.
In the first part of the year I didn't have much time to discover new things, because I had to study for school.
In the first week of summer vacantion, I adopted a kitten. All the summer I didn't have much time to hang out with my friends, because I had to stay with my kitten, but one of my friend came to my house to spend time with me.
In the same vacantion, I went in a camping with my family. It was my favourite activity from that summer.
The school started, so I had to study a lot again. The first 2 months were boring, but in November was my birthday. I had the best birthday party at home, with my friends.
At the end of December, I had vacantion, I went to carol with my friends, the Christmas came and I spent time with my family.
In conclusion, 2022 was a successful year.

In 2022 i met a lot of people but some of them were fake friends but some of them were real friends and i’m still friends with them , i hanged out alot this year with my friends and did the dumbest things that entertained us. I started reading books and in primary school i hated reading more than anything. In school i was the weird boy with long hair but that never stopped me frok doing things that i liked. I started skating and almost broke my arms twice but i was lucky and i didnt. But my fav thing that i started to do this year was making origami and did it at school to and gave some things i made to my english teacher.
I really liked 2022 and i could’ve put more things in this text but if i did the text would’ve been as long as a book.

2022 was indead a mixed year.
ReplyDeleteIn the beggining it was good because there weren't anymore COVID-19 restrictions which was a big relief for everyone, but soon after, Russia invaded Ukraine, resulting in almost eight million refugees.
In May, Eurovision is held in Turin, Italy, the contest being won by Ukrainian folk-rap group Kalush Orchestra. On the 8th of September Queen Elizabeth the second dies at the age of ninety-six.
For the world it was a rough year but for me it was pretty good. I went to Italy, visited my cousins, went on trips, vacations with my family but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows because like anyone else we sometimes argued and get upset.
Overall I liked this year and I hope the next one will be as good and fun.

ReplyDelete2022 was indeed a year with a lot of memories. I had new experiences that I enjoyed. Also I learned how important it’s to be optimistic and never lose your hope in difficult moments. I had some moments that made me happy because I did it for the first time.
ReplyDeleteIn the winter of this year I went to the mountains with my parents where I skied for the first time. I never thought skiing would be one of my passions. It was amazing, I remember with joy that vacation.
On my birthday which was in April, I got a kitty from my parents. It was the best present ever and it was a dream came true. I called the little cat Oskar and it became my best friend. It was white with black spots and its nose was half pink and half black. Oskar was special for me from the first second I got it.
In July, I met one of my best friends after a long time. We were in different cities and we couldn’t see so often. When the summer came, I visited her for a week. I went to her city on her birthday to make a surprise for her. We made a lot of stunning memories that I would never forget.
In the summer, but in August, I travelled for the first time by plane. I was with my parents and my sister to Italy at our aunt and uncle. We visited some magnificent cities like Venice or Bologna until the weather wasn’t fine.
The year 2022 was a year full of marvelous experiences together with my family and friends. I related to make gorgeous memories and discovered new hobbies. I hope that 2023 would be the way to something better.

squealing loudly. The pig is a prize in a contest. Mr Hoggett guesses its weight, and he wins the pig. His wife is really happy, because there is a lot of meat on a pig, and she could make a dinner or two out of it. But this isn't a normal pig though. Fly, the sheepdog of the farm, gets along well with the pig, who she finds is named Babe, and raises him with her puppies. Babe is enthralled with the dog's life as a sheepherder, and when the puppies are sold away, Fly begins to train the pig in the ways of a sheepdog. She explains to Babe that sheep are stupid animals and that dogs are smart animals. It's the dog's job to dominate the sheep in order to have them perform the farmer's building. One day, however, an old sheep named Ma takes sick and is kept in the stable for treatment. Babe meets her and becomes her friend knowing she isn't stupid and that he can treat her respectfully. As time goes by, farmer Hoggett begins to notice the strange behavior of this pig . After the sheep gets better, she returnes in the north field. The little pig misses Ma and wants to see her and the other sheep. Therefore, on Wednesday, he goes to the north field and hears the sheep's cries. Two dogs were attacking the sheep and Babe saved them. Once mr Hoggett arrives home and becomes aware of what happened, he decides to proceed with his plan to enter Babe in the sheepdog trials. He trains his pig how to guide the sheep through a course. Fly is proud and impressed by Babe's progress but she worries that the sheep at the trials will be incapable to communicate with the pig. She has learned some respect for the sheep because of Babe and asked them about this problem. The sheep tell her a password that will help Babe communicate with the sheep at the trials. Babe uses the secret password and addresses them with kindness. Like that, they obey his requests and the pig wins the contest with a perfect score.

ReplyDelete2022 was indeed a busy year for me, and I think I have changed a lot during it.
Winter went by incredibly quick, after the holiday, school felt really soft, and in most of the days, after classes, I either played football with some friends or just hanging around, talking about random things we were thinking about at that moment.
Spring felt dull for me, compared to winter it passed slowly and nothing interesting took place. It seemed like a routine, no special things happened during this season, every week was like a copy-paste of the previous one, with some small, unnoticeable differences.
The summer of 2022 was, by far, one of the best summers of my life. Time passed quickly because every day I had fun, I either hanged out with friends all day long, mostly riding our bicycles outside the town, searching for something to explore or played video games.
Autumn was unpredictably harsh for me, seventh grade was much harder than sixth grade and it made a lot of changes in my routine. After classes I couldn’t afford hanging out as I did in sixth grade. It also changed my sleep schedule, going to sleep early at night and waking up early was necessary to be prepared at all the classes I attended to and that was really hard for me as my sleep schedule was hectic after the summer break, but slowly I got used to it.
Now is winter again and I can say that 2022 was a good year, I believe I got more responsible and that I achieved quite a few of my goals this year.

2022 was indeed a good year, I had good grades and achieved some of my goals. In winter I didn't do a lot of things, I just studied and paid attention in school. When the weather started to get warmer in weekends I spent time with my friends and enjoyed the spring vacation, also Easter. Summer was the best season in 2022, I went to an embassy in Bucharest. The whole summer vacation I stayed at my grandparents' house and played with my best friends, I really liked it. I made some new friends at the end of the summer but unfortunately they didn't stay until the end of the year. In autumn I started 7th grade, at first I was really scared because two new subjects were added but over time it got easier and less scarier. I also went to the mountains with my friend, we had a great time. When winter vacation came, I was really excited and I couldn't wait for Christmas. 2022 ended with some beautiful fireworks and I hope 2023 will be the same or even better.

ReplyDeleteI remember how i played with my cousin hide-and-seek at my grandmother's house. It was really scary sometimes because we liked playing at night since it was spookier. I liked to scare my cousin by hiding in a dark corner then screaming till my lungs were out of air. He got mad everytime and didn't want to play anymore, but after 5 minutes he didn't care anymore and asked if i want to play again. Don't think he would let that slide because he would do the same for me but i wasn't scared,i just laughed at him.
We also liked playing in the back yard since it was gigantic and had lots of spots to hide. One time we were playing in the dark and sudently we heard something strange. We went to investigate and something jumped in front of us,it turns out it was my dad,he just wanted to scare us. He somehow maneged to make me and my cousin scream in fear but then we saw his face.
In the end we went inside the house and to this day we haven't played hide and seek in the dark. Hopefully 2023 will be as good or better.
